Configure your Cash App (Proton Paid)

AutoMenuX hooks into your Cash App email notifications to confirm transactions. To let it work you need to configure notification email forwarding from an email that you connected to Cash App. Follow the instructions below to do it. It should take no more then 5 minutes.

Email forwarding is available only in Proton Mail Paid plans. Free users can't set up email forwarding. To integrate with AutoMenuX either you have to upgrade your Proton Mail to Paid plan, or you can change your email address in Cash App settings to free Gmail address. Free Gmail supports email forwarding and therefore is fully compatible with AutoMenuX.

1. Log-in to your AutoMenuX Dashboard

2. Go to Configure CashApp - don’t close this Tab. You will need it in a second.

3. In a new browser tab Log-in to your Proton mail - make sure that you use the same Proton account that you used for Cash App (The one where you receive notifications from Cash-App)

4. Go back to the AutoMenuX Dashboard (Configure Cash App tab) and copy your forwarding email

5. Open an official Email Forwarding instruction from Proton: https://proton.me/support/email-forwarding

6. Execute the official instruction. As a target email use the email you copied from AutoMenuX Dashboard.

7. When creating forwarding add following conditions:

The sender is exactly: cash@square.com

The subject contains: sent you

8. Now you need to confirm forwarding by clicking a link Proton have sent to your Forwarding email. To do it please go back to the AutoMenuX Dashboard (Configure Cash App tab) and look in your inbox for an incoming email and open it.

9. And click on a confirmation link inside

10. You are done! To check if it is working wait until someone sends you some money and you should see a confirmation email in your AutoMenuX Dashboard (Configure Cash App tab) in your Inbox. You can also ask some friend to send you a $1 for a test.
